Automatic number

(This functionality is available in the Pro version only and you must be logged in as an administrator)

If you choose this option, you must do it when you start using D2M.

In the "Tools" menu, click on "Customize" and "Settings".

We recommend you to be careful when doing this handling.

Click on "Option" in the thumb-index

In "Options" click on "NCnnn" for non conformity code set in the form

Once the box ticked, when you will create a new non conformity form, click on "automatic number". An automatic code with the form "NCn" will appear with n a number for the non conformity. When you will save a corrective action which corresponds to this non conformity, if you set the same code to this corrective action with /, for example NC2 for the non conformity and /NC2 fir the corrective action, the parameters for button link that goes from the corrective action to the non conformity ot that goes from the non conformity to the corrective action will automatically be set.

Also, if you choose not to use the automatic number, you can set a specific code : for example if you name the non conformity Error1, a link will be automatically created with a corrective action that you will name /error1.

Note : The handling is the same for preventive actions.
