Can I use D2M even if I do not have a database management software ?
Yes because D2M manages itself the database.
Can I use several databases ?
Yes you can use as many databases as you wish and 3 of them are available in the shortcult toolbar on the right (the shortcut toolbar is only available in the Pro version) .
Can I declare some corrective actions and preventive actions when I am logged in as a user ?
You must be logged in as an administrator to declare some corrective actions and preventive action. If you are only logged is as a user, you will not be able to use this functionaliy.
How can I be sure that I am working on the right database ?
The path to the database you are working on is displayed at the bottom of the window. You can make no mistake !
How can I use D2M for an office automation ?
When you display some charts and graphs, click on "Export". Then you will be able to save the object at the .xls format (in the Standard and Pro versions only). In the "Tools" menu, when you click on export, you will be able to transfer the lists of non conformities, corrective actions and preventive actions to Excel (in the Pro version only).
How can I view the non conformity linked to a corrective action ?
When you choose to display the corrective actions, select the corrective action you wish in the list . Then you will see in the navigation bar the "Non conformity" button. Click on this button to view the non conformity form linked to this corrective action.

I have just installed one of the D-Line softwares but it doesn't run and a message tells me that the Microsoft Network Library is missing. what sould I do ?
You do not have to remove it. You just have to install the Microsoft Framework 4 Library. You can do it from the Orgatag CD. Click right on the icon which represents the CD in your system and click on "Explore", then open the directory "Contexte" then the directory "Framework 4" before running "dotnetfx40_full_x86_x64.exe" . Other solution : In the same file, click on "dotnetfx40_full_setup.exe". This will automatically download the latest Microsoft Framework version. You can also search for it on the web.
When Framework 4 will have been installed and your computer Restarted, you will be able to run the software. Be careful that installing Framework 4 can be long (15 minutes) and the time you will need to run the software for the first time will be longer than the next times.
How do I choose a database model ?
The databases that you can use to manage quality are those like “D2M-Q”, the ones for health and safety are like “D2M-S” and the ones for environment are like “D2M-E”. FR corresponds to french language, EN for english, IT for Italian, DE for german and ES for Spanish.
How to customize a form that I want to print ?
Create some images files with your own logo(s) between 120-110 x 40-60 pixels. Name them “logo1-en.jpg” and “logo2-en” (if you have only one logo, save it twice with these names). If you want to display only one logo (on the left logo1-en.jpg, on the right logo2-en.jpg). You must remove the file that you do not want to see on the form. Create an image file with your address and informations that will be at the bottom of the document. Call it “PiedPage-en.jpg”.Copy these files and paste them in the directory C://Program Files/D2M/Donnees and. We recommend you to change the name of the original models so that you will not lose them.Try to see your document in D2M (Preview form), your files are now on the document.To change the margins and colors, click on “Tools/Customize/Printer”. (If you use a black and white printer, you can select the yellow if you want an element to look grey ) .If the pictures are not displayed correctly, don’t hesitate to change the margins.
How can I determine the number of years for data registry ?
You must click on Tools/customize/settings. In the « numeric parameters », you can change the number of years for data registry. You must be logged in as an administrator and validate this modification.
How can i reinitialize D2M or DCNC ?
You must click right on the icon on the desktop and then click on properties. Then add a space and “/I” in the target blank after "C:\Program Files (x86)\D2M\D2M.exe"
The windows are not well positioned , what can I do ?
In the menu « ? », click on “Reset”.
Why would I manage some Non-conformities that I would have created manually in DCNC, whereas I can import them from D2M ?
We can assess some quality plans in their entirely or independantly by giving a number to a theme or an axis of the quality plan for example. This enables you to obtain some interesting graphs to prepare a review.
Why would I choose a Pro version instead of a standard version ?
The Pro version is more complete. It includes : pictures management, possibility to print the lists displayed before accessing to the Non conformities and actions, possibility to link non-conformities to corrective actions, automatic code set in the form, link to DCNC, Count functionality. Contrarly to the Lite version, the pro version can be used as a multi license with two login levels .
How can I link DCNC to D2M ?
In the part Tools/customize/settings, click in the « options » part. Then click on “Link to DCNC » and indicate its path , which is generally C://Program Files/DCNC/DCNC.exe.When you will import these NC from D2M on DCNC, you will be able to assess them.Close D2M and launch it. When you will display a NC, click on the DCNC logo. Then DCNC will be automatically launched and you will be able to see the assessments for this NC.
I selected a security database among the models. What should I do to activate the occupational health and safety mode ?
In the part “Tools/customize/settings”, you must tick the box “Occupational health and safety mode» and validate. Then the Occupational health and safety mode is activated automatically, if not, check that your database is like “D2M-S”.
I want to link a non-conformity to a corrective action manually. How can I do ?
Take note of the non conformity form code (in the list, just before the ID). When you will create a corrective action form, name it /NCx (x is the non-conformity code). The link will be automatically done.
I want to customize the corrective actions and non-conformities IDs but I do not want to break the link between them. What must I do ?
You can customize the IDS after a space you left after NCx or /NCx
I want to customize the distribution criterion for the non conformities, corrective actions and preventive actions, What must I do ?
In the menu Tools/ codification tables, click on the table you want to customize. Once on the table, you click by a double click modify the elements. You must be logged in as an administrator.
How to use D2M and DCNC in a network ?
You must save the database in a directory in the network and install the software solution on each computer.
How can I have the graph bigger on my DCNC preview ?
You have to play with the software solution frames because it reproduces what it sees on the screen (size included).
Questions about the usefulness of D2M
Is D2M really pertinent and adapted to non conformities processing ?
Absolutely. D2M was created by a consultant in organization and certification auditor who noticed a demand for non conformities processing. D2M is the answer to this problematic.
Is it necessary to connect D2M to internet ?
You need a network or a wifi access for the multiple computer version. D2M won't use it but it will test it. For example if you connect you computer to a network at your office, if you try to use D2M at home with the same computer, you will not be able tu run D2M if there is no network or wifi connexion.
Why do I have to log in ?
To use D2M you must create a user's account with a password. By logging in, you will be able to see in the log file all the events that occurred, who logged in and when (in the Pro version only). This identification process also enables to protect the data condifentiality. In the lite version, the user is automatically logged in as an administrator because this version is available for asimgle computer only.
Is the administrator mode accessible to everbody ?
No, you must enter the administrator password.
